Our Story
As a business owner in Bradenton, Florida since the 1970’s, John L. Rice has successfully served our local community for more than forty years. From Chairman of the Manatee Chamber to sitting on the board of the Economic Developmental council, John’s passion for the community shows in his dedication to making Bradenton a better place for businesses and residents.
In 2010, John Sr. and his sons John Jr. and Joe Rice were given the opportunity to reopen a once long-time appliance store that closed in 2009. Rice’s was then formed to fill the void in the local area where high-touch customer service and expert advice was no longer an option for those shopping for appliances.
